In this article I go over how to record yourself playing a piano from overhead using a smartphone camera.

All I had to do was follow the instructions there and I could get mine set up.
The four components needed are
- A smartphone with a camera
- Tripod boom mic stand
- Phone adapter
- Ball head adapter
Setup Procedure
- Set up the mic stand
- Attach the ball head adapter to the mic stand
- Attach the phone adapter to the ball head adapter
- Mount your phone into the phone adapter.
